چکیده

This paper possesses information about the Creation of Rendering 3D Haptic Shapes in MidAir Using Ultrasound. Today’s haptic Technology is all around us & changed rapidly over the last few years with touch feedback & used in entertainment, rehabilitation and even surgical training. The buzz of your smartphone as you tap the keys, or the rumble of your Wii controller as you smash a tennis ball are both haptic effects. Now, scientists have invented a new method of haptic feedback using ultrasound which creates 3D haptic shapes in midair that can be seen and felt. This method uses ultrasounds which is focused onto the hands above the device that can be felt. In this approach the nonlinear effects of the sound produce forces on the skin which are used to generate tactile sensation & ultrasound visually patterns demonstrated by directing the device at a thin layer of oil so the depression can be seen as floating 3D shapes. Keywords—3D Shapes, Haptic, Mid Air Shapes, Radiation forces, Touch interaction, Tactile displays, Touchable objects, Virtual Touchable 3D shapes objects.

Study of Performances of "Haptic Walls" Modalities for a 3D Menu

We introduce a new technique of haptic guidance for item selection in 3D menus for VR applications called “haptic walls”. It consists in haptically rendering a solid funnel to guide the pointer towards a target located in the angle. We designed a 3D haptic menu using this approach: a thin polyhedral shape with the items at the corners. The “haptic walls” are experimented with 2 different shapes...

Towards Mid-Air Haptic Widgets

Introduction Mid-air haptic technology has created new possibilities for in-air interaction, allowing users to experience rich haptic sensations without touching or wearing a tactile display. This means we can enhance mid-air interfaces with haptic feedback, potentially improving their usability as users feel cues that help them provide input. As interaction designers, we are faced with an exci...

A a Novel Haptic Rendering Technique Using a Hybrid Surface Representation Addresses Conventional Limitations in Haptic Displays. a Haptic-rendering Technique Based on Hybrid Surface Representation 66

explore, paint, and manipulate virtual 3D models in a natural way using a haptic display device. A haptic rendering algorithm must generate a force field to simulate the presence of these virtual objects and their surface properties (such as friction and texture), or to guide the user along a specific trajectory. We can roughly classify haptic rendering algorithms according to the surface repre...

Real-Time Synchronised 3D-Perceptualisation

The aim is to support application users to inspect the results of software that simulates complex, time-variant physical phenomena in the natural and engineering sciences. The objective is to ’perceptualise’ the Gigabytes of data by means of visual and haptic 3D animations. The quality of the animations depends, among other aspects, on the reliable synchronisation of the animation frames, indep...

Compact Device for Markerless Hand Tracking and Noncontact Tactile Feedback

A compact device is introduced which enables users not only to operate computers by moving their hands in mid-air but also to feel haptic feedback on their hands. The device consists of a depth camera for hand tracking and a noncontact tactile display for haptic feedback. The tactile display utilizes focused ultrasound to produce tactile stimulation from a distance. The principles are described...
